- ABOUT JILL MASTERS -
Jill, originally from Gloucester, MA, has lived in Telluride since 1978 and over the years, has been involved in the Telluride community on many fronts.
Jill met her husband Bill Masters here in Telluride, where Bill has been the County Sheriff for over 25 years. She is the President Elect of Telluride Association of Realtors and is also a Paramediic at the Telluride Fire Protection District. She serves on the board of Telluride TV, our local public access station located on channel 12. Jill has been a personal trainer, EMT instructor, Nordic ski instructor, San Miguel County Deputy Sheriff and Search and Rescue Member--a background she has put to good use in raising her four children here. Jill’s association with the Historic Architectural Review Commission helps preserve Telluride’s Historic Landmark designation, making sure Telluride maintains its quality of development without sacrificing local affordable housing or open space. Jill is devoted to preserving what keeps Telluride unique.
Jill has servied on Telluride Town Council as well as on the Ecology Commission and Telluride Housing Authority.
Jill became involved in Real Estate because of terrific people skills, extensive knowledge of the area and the opportunity to work with Telluride's most experienced brokerage company. She is a Certified International Property Speciaiist, a Resort and Second Home Property Specialist and an EcoBroker®, completing advanced training to better educate investors about a property’s energy efficiency, indoor air quality and health, and potential energy conservation tax breaks. Telluride’s green-minded residents appreciate the area’s high, crisp clean environment, and those who know Jill applaud her nudging the market toward sustainable design.
